The sea food was nice

I was in Laparada Century city this evening with my girl we were served by the lady “Zinzie” nd she asked us to rate her service after we finished eating she showed us how to do it on google…then after she cleared the table she vanished and another lady came to our table saying she will take over from her,we asked what happened to our 1st waiter she told us that the manager transferred her tables to her nd she was sent home,we asked why didn’t she come her self for handover and we were told she was not happy with her tables being forcefully taken from her…that was uncalled for and unprofessional…

Hi. We would regularly pop in for a lunch tapas special and some wine. The pork belly and prawns were particularly good. However we chose to go across to Umami Urban for their Tapas special, also very good. (We use to alternate).

We were served by Bongani. He was a good waiter. Seemed slightly new and possibly nervous. I ordered a burger to go. And instead of having the kitchen prepare it later he brought it before our food even came. That was a thumbs down. It was commen sense to make it later as I said it's to go. Other than that. The service was fine. We were short a set of cutlery. I had to ask for tomato sauce for my fries. Maybe next time he should ask if you want condiments with the food. The vibe was nice and quiet. Great and attentive service from Bongani. We felt so comfortable and he preempted all our needs. Always a great experience

I took my two daughters on a mom and girls trip to do some shopping at canal walk and stay at the Marriott. We were advised that La Parada will be suitable for dinner. We were so fortunate to have Bongani as our server. He was so attentive and even walked us ladies back to the hotel when we expressed that we were worried about safety. I would definitely recommend La Parada for the food and service. We will be back.
